Description

The vulnerability allows a local user to bypass implemented security restrictions.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error in pledge(2) mechanism in sys/kern/kern_pledge.c. A local user can use the ".." characters to access files outside of "/usr/share/zoneinfo".
