Description
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the intel_punit_ipc_probe() function in drivers/platform/x86/intel/punit_ipc.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
Remediation
