This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-20911)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the HuffTable::initval functionality. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-21413)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the lossless_jpeg_load_raw functionality. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-24660)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the x3f_load_huffman functionality. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
