Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-33829)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to excessive data output by the application in Windows Snipping Tool. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-32183)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation in Windows Snipping Tool. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary commands.
