Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-32214)
The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in Universal Plug and Play (upnp.dll). A local user can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.
2) Link following (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-32212)
The vulnerability allows a local user to compromsie the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to an insecure link following issue in Universal Plug and Play (upnp.dll). A local user can create a specially crafted symbolic link to a critical file on the system and gain access to sensitive information on the system.
