Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Inefficient regular expression complexity (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24762)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation when processing value of the "Content-Type" HTTP header with a regular expressions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and perform regular expression denial of service (ReDos) attack.


2) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-53981)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application generates excessive log entries when parsing form data. A remote attacker can trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-24486)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when using non-default configuration options "UPLOAD_DIR" and "UPLOAD_KEEP_FILENAME=True". A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and write arbitrary files on the system.
