Description
This security bulletin contains information about 7 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-39993)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the display_open(), send_packet(), vfd_write(), lcd_write() and imon_disconnect() functions in drivers/media/rc/imon.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-56756)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the nvme_free_host_mem(), __nvme_alloc_host_mem() and kfree() functions in drivers/nvme/host/pci.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
