1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2026-23052)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the ftrace_update_code(), ftrace_allocate_records(), ftrace_free_pages(), ftrace_allocate_pages() and ftrace_process_locs() functions in kernel/trace/ftrace.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
