Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-52999)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when parsing deeply nested JSON files. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted JSON file to the application, trigger memory corruption and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-0468)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within Payments in Google Chrome. A remote attacker can trick the victim into visiting a specially crafted web page, trigger a use-after-free error and gain access to sensitive information.
