Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-12443)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition within the WebXR component in Google Chrome. A remote attacker can trick the victim into visiting a specially crafted web page, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and gain access to sensitive information.


2) Improper validation of generative ai output (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-13720)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to a bad cast in Loader. A remote attacker can bypass implemented security restrictions. 


3) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-38349)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the __ep_remove() and ep_clear_and_put() functions in fs/eventpoll.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.


4) Improperly implemented security check for standard (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-13632)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the affected system.

The vulnerability exists due to incorrect implementation in DevTools in Google Chrome. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted web page, trick the victim into visiting it and compromise the system.
