1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-53998)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the request_entropy() and virtio_read() functions in drivers/char/hw_random/virtio-rng.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
