The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error within the nvme_remove_admin_tag_set() and nvme_free_ctrl() functions in drivers/nvme/host/core.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
