Description

This security bulletin contains information about 5 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper resource shutdown or release (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-67635)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application does not properly close HTTP-based CLI connections when the connection stream becomes corrupted. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Missing Authorization (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-67636)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authorization process.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected applciation does not perform a permission check to determine whether a password field should be redacted in views. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information on the target system.


3) Cleartext storage of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-67637)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application stores build authorization tokens unencrypted in job config.xml files on the Jenkins controller. A remote user can gain access to sensitive information on the system.


4) Information disclosure (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-67638)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.

The vulnerability exists due to the job configuration form does not mask the tokens. A remote user can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system.


5) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-67639)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote user can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.
