Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Uncontrolled recursion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-59789)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to uncontrolled recursion in the json2pb component. A remote attacker can send specially crafted JSON data and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Improper Neutralization of Argument Delimiters in a Command (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-60021)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary OS commands on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the bRPC heap profiler built-in service (/pprof/heap). A remote user can pass specially crafted input via the extra_options parameter and executes it as a command-line argument.
