Description

This security bulletin contains information about 14 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37139)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources in an AOS firmware binary. A local administrator can permanently delete necessary boot information and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

2) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37145)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in a low-level interface library in AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.

3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37144)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in a low-level interface library in AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.

4) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37143)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the web-based management interface of AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and download arbitrary files on the system.

5) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37142)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the CLI binary of AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and download arbitrary files on the system.

6) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37141)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the CLI binary of AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and download arbitrary files on the system.

7) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37140)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the CLI binary of AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and download arbitrary files on the system.

8) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37138)

The vulnerability allows a loca user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the command line interface binary of AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controllers/Mobility Conductor operating system. An administrator with physical access can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

9) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37137)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the command-line interface of an AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and delete arbitrary files in the target system.

10) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37136)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the command-line interface of an AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and delete arbitrary files in the target system.

11) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37135)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions in the command-line interface of an AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor. A remote administrator can bypass implemented security restrictions and delete arbitrary files in the target system.

12) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37134)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the CLI binary of an AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating system. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

13) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37133)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in the CLI binary of an AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating system. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

14) Arbitrary file upload (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-37132)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of file during file upload in the web-based management interface within the AOS-10 GW and AOS-8 Controller/Mobility Conductor operating systems. A remote administrator can upload a malicious file and execute it on the server.
