Description

1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-50570)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the cros_ec_chardev_ioctl_readmem() function in drivers/platform/chrome/cros_ec_chardev.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
