This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-59494)

The vulnerability allows a local user to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.

The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A local user can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain elevated privileges on the system.


2) Deserialization of Untrusted Data (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-59285)

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to insecure input validation when processing serialized data in Azure Monitor Agent. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary code on the target system with elevated privileges.
