The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to NULL pointer dereference within the dereg_device_v3_hw() and slot_complete_v3_hw() functions in drivers/scsi/hisi_sas/hisi_sas_v3_hw.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
