1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-53535)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the bcmgenet_desc_rx() function in drivers/net/ethernet/broadcom/genet/bcmgenet.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
