1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-53400)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the path_has_mixer() and get_line_out_pfx() functions in sound/pci/hda/hda_generic.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
Remediation
