SB2025060948 - Multiple vulnerabilities in QNAP QuRouter

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-13087)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary commands on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient input validation. An administrator on the local network can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary commands.

2) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-13088)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass authentication process.

The vulnerability exists due to an error in when processing authentication requests. A remote attacker on the local network can bypass authentication process and gain unauthorized access to the application.
