Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45338)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources in several Parse functions. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) NULL pointer dereference (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-2953)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a NULL pointer dereference error within the ber_memalloc_x() function. A remote attacker can send specially crafted data to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-43842)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the rtw89_sta_info_get_iter() function in drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtw89/debug.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
