Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-30193)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of incoming TCP connections from the client. A remote attacker can initiate a crafted TCP exchange and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack through stack exhaustion.
2) Double free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-30194)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a double free error when DNSdist is configured to provide DoH via the nghttp2 provider. A remote attacker can initiate a crafted DoH exchange that triggers an illegal memory access and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
