Description

This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-54534)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing HTML content in WebKit. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted website, trick the victim into opening it, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


2) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-47606)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow in the MP4/MOV demuxer and memory allocator. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger an integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


3) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21587)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the JSSE component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.


4) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-30698)

The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the 2D component in Oracle GraalVM Enterprise Edition. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.
