The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper locking within the mctp_i2c_get_tx_flow_state() and mctp_i2c_release_flow() functions in drivers/net/mctp/mctp-i2c.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
