Description

This security bulletin contains information about 16 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Resource exhaustion (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-30204)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to application does not properly control consumption of internal resources within the parse.ParseUnverified function when parsing authorization header. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP response to the application, trigger resource exhaustion and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-24786)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop when parsing data in an invalid JSON format within the protojson.Unmarshal() function. A remote attacker can consume all available system resources and cause denial of service conditions.


3) Use of uninitialized resource (CVE-ID: CVE-2021-47101)

The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to use of uninitialized resource within the asix_check_host_enable() function in drivers/net/usb/asix_common.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

6) Information Exposure Through Timing Discrepancy (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-2236)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform timing attack.

The vulnerability exists due to an error in libgcrypt's RSA implementation. A remote attacker can initiate a Bleichenbacher-style attack, which can lead to the decryption of RSA ciphertexts.


7) Resource management error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-26614)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to improper management of internal resources within the reqsk_queue_alloc() function in net/core/request_sock.c. A remote attacker can send specially crafted ACK packets to the system and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the ieee80211_check_fast_xmit() function in net/mac80211/tx.c, within the sta_info_insert_finish() function in net/mac80211/sta_info.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
