Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-50602)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input within the XML_ResumeParser function. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted XML input to the application and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


2) Infinite loop (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-11612)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to infinite loop when processing streams in CopyCoder. A remote attacker can trick the victim into opening a specially crafted archive and perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.


3) Out-of-bounds write (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-27363)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error when processing untrusted input. A remote attacker can pass a specially crafted font to the application that is using an affected version of the library, trigger an out-of-bounds write and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
