Description

This security bulletin contains information about 9 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) Cross-site request forgery (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41795)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform cross-site request forgery attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of the HTTP request origin. A remote attacker can trick the victim to visit a specially crafted web page and perform arbitrary actions on behalf of the victim on the vulnerable website.

2) Unverified Password Change (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41796)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application allows to change the login password without knowing the current password. A remote attacker can set the password to an attacker-controlled value.

3) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41788)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation in specific GET requests. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

4) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41789)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the language parameter in specific POST requests. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

5) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41790)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the region parameter in specific POST requests. A remote administrator can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.

6) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41791)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application does not authenticate report creation requests. A remote attacker can read or clear the log files on the device, reset the device or set the date and time.

7) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41792)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.

The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.

8) Missing Authentication for Critical Function (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41793)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to the affected application provides an endpoint that allows to enable the ssh service without authentication. A remote attacker can enable remote access to the device via ssh.

9) Use of hard-coded credentials (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-41794)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain full access to vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to presence of hard-coded credentials in application code. A remote unauthenticated attacker can access the affected system using the hard-coded credentials.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
