SB2025040961 - Multiple vulnerabilities in FortiIsolator

Description

This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.

1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-54025)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the gen-ca-cert CLI command. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the CLI command and execute arbitrary OS commands.

2) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-54024)

The vulnerability allows a remote user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the diagnose feature. A remote priviledg user can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.
