Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-24081)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Microsoft Excel. A remote attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
2) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-24082)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.
The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Microsoft Excel. A remote attacker can execute arbitrary code on the target system.
3) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-24075)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Microsoft Excel. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trick a victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger stack-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
