1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-49698)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the DEFINE_PER_CPU(), nft_ng_random_gen() and nft_ng_random_init() functions in net/netfilter/nft_numgen.c, within the DEFINE_PER_CPU(), nft_meta_get_eval_ifname(), nft_meta_get_eval() and nft_meta_get_init() functions in net/netfilter/nft_meta.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
