This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21379)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in DHCP Client Service. A remote attacker on the local network can perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack and execute arbitrary code on the target system.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21179)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in DHCP Client Service. A remote attacker on the local network can perform a man-in-the-middle (MitM) attack, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and cause a denial of service condition on the system.
