Description
This security bulletin contains information about 4 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Stack-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2023-51074)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service attack.
The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in the Criteria.parse() method. A remote unauthenticated attacker can trigger stack-based buffer overflow and perform a denial of service attack.
2) Improper input validation (CVE-ID: CVE-2025-21550)
The vulnerability allows a remote non-authenticated attacker to read and manipulate data.
The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation within the Web UI component in Oracle Financial Services Behavior Detection Platform. A remote non-authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability to read and manipulate data.
3) Path traversal (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38819)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to input validation error when processing directory traversal sequences in applications that serve static resources through the functional web frameworks WebMvc.fn or WebFlux.fn. A remote attacker can send a specially crafted HTTP request and read arbitrary files on the system.
4) Integer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-45492)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to integer overflow within the nextScaffoldPart() function in xmlparse.c. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger an integer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
