The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to resource management error within the nfsd_file_put() function in fs/nfsd/filecache.c, within the nfs_open_local_fh() function in fs/nfs_common/nfslocalio.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
