1) Memory leak (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-56729)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the spin_lock() function in fs/smb/client/cached_dir.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
