Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Sensitive Cookie Without 'HttpOnly' Flag (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-33167)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain access to potentially sensitive information.
The vulnerability exists due to the failure to set the HTTPOnly flag. A remote attacker can gain unauthorized access to sensitive information on the system from the cookie.
2) Cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-32754)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote privileged user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data. The vulnerability allows privileged user to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow a remote attacker to steal potentially sensitive information, change appearance of the web page, perform phishing and drive-by-download attacks.
3) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-33162)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.
The vulnerability exists due to application does not perform any authentication for functionality that requires a provable user identity or consumes a significant amount of resources. A remote attacker can create a specially crafted file, trigger memory corruption and execute arbitrary code on the target system.
