Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper access control (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-29085)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to otherwise restricted functionality.
The vulnerability exists due to improper access restrictions. A remote user on the local network can bypass implemented security restrictions and gain elevated privileges on the system.
2) Cleartext transmission of sensitive information (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-28169)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to software uses insecure communication channel to transmit sensitive information. A remote user with ability to intercept network traffic can cause a denial of service condition on the target system.
