The vulnerability allows a local attacker to escalate privileges on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in Windows USB Video Class System Driver. An attacker with physical access can connect a malicious USB device, trigger an out-of-bounds read error and gain elevated privileges on the system.
