1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-49869)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the __counted_by(), kmalloc() and fs_path_len() functions in fs/btrfs/send.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
