1) Memory leak (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-47741)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the find_desired_extent_in_hole() and find_desired_extent() functions in fs/btrfs/file.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
