Description

This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.


1) OS Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-25912)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary shell commands on the target system.

The vulnerability exists when enabling the ext transport protocol, which makes it exploitable via clone() method. A remote unauthenticated attacker can pass specially crafted data to the application and execute arbitrary OS commands on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.


2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-25860)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute remote code on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input sanitization. A remote attacker can pass specially crafted input to the application and execute remote code on the system using the clone(), pull(), push() and listRemote() methods.


3) Command Injection (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-25908)

The vulnerability allows a local user to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to improper input validation by the devInstall function. A local user can send a specially-crafted request to exploit this vulnerability and execute arbitrary commands on the system.
