The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Graphics Component. A local user can escalate privileges on the target system.


2) Out-of-bounds read (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38250)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary condition in Windows Graphics Component. A local user can trigger an out-of-bounds read error and gain elevated privileges on the target system.


3) Double free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38247)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Windows Graphics Component. A local user can pass specially crafted data to the application, trigger double free error and gain elevated privileges on the target system.
