The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to improper locking within the qmc_hdlc_framer_set_carrier() and qmc_hdlc_probe() functions in drivers/net/wan/fsl_qmc_hdlc.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
