1) Buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2022-48806)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to memory corruption within the ee1004_eeprom_read() function in drivers/misc/eeprom/ee1004.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
