1) Race condition (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-40976)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to a race condition within the lima_sched_timedout_job() function in drivers/gpu/drm/lima/lima_sched.c. A local user can escalate privileges on the system.
