1) Incorrect calculation (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-40993)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect calculation within the MODULE_DESCRIPTION() and ip_set_create() functions in net/netfilter/ipset/ip_set_core.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
