1) Memory leak (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-39489)
The vulnerability allows a local user to perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
The vulnerability exists due to memory leak within the seg6_hmac_init_algo() and seg6_hmac_net_init() functions in net/ipv6/seg6_hmac.c. A local user can perform a denial of service (DoS) attack.
Remediation
