Description
This security bulletin contains information about 3 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38033)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in PowerShell. A remote user can place a malicious file and gain administrator privileges.
2) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38047)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in PowerShell. A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
3) Input validation error (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38043)
The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input in PowerShell. A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.
