1) Use-after-free (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38085)

The vulnerability allows a local user to compromise vulnerable system.

The vulnerability exists due to a use-after-free error in Windows Graphics Component. A local user can gain elevated privileges on the target system.


2) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38079)

The vulnerability allows a local user to escalate privileges on the system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Windows Graphics Component. A local user can run a specially crafted application and gain elevated privileges on the target system.


3) Heap-based buffer overflow (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-38051)

The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system.

The vulnerability exists due to a boundary error in Windows Graphics Component. A remote attacker can pass trick a victim to open a specially crafted file, trigger a heap-based buffer overflow and execute arbitrary code on the target system.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may result in complete compromise of vulnerable system.
