Description
This security bulletin contains information about 2 secuirty vulnerabilities.
1) Improper Authentication (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-4215)
The vulnerability allows a remote attacker to bypass multi-factor authentication.
The vulnerability exists due to incorrect implementation of multi-factor authentication. A remote attacker with knowledge of valid credentials can bypass multi-factor authentication and gain unauthorized access to the application.
2) Stored cross-site scripting (CVE-ID: CVE-2024-4216)
The disclosed vulnerability allows a remote user to perform cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks.
The vulnerability exists due to insufficient sanitization of user-supplied data passed via the /settings/store API response json payload. A remote user can inject and script code in user's browser in context of vulnerable website.
